Tim Eldridge Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

When I first met Dr. Eldridge I was of course nervous, but courageous and I hung on every word he said, like my life depended on it. He looked me right in the eye when he spoke and was very straight-forward with me about the risks and benefits of the surgery. My first impression of his office suite it was inviting, peaceful, comfortable, and well decorated. The office staff was professional and nice, but lacked flare and personality - maybe it was one of those days. Dr. Eldridge is a very good surgeon with a lot of experience and with a great temperment. I wished that I had attended the seminar, which would have made my experience complete. But, I just knew he was the surgeon for me. I was very confident that I was definitely in good hands and that's all that matters. I am even pleased with the aftercare and the maintance phase of the band. God is good!!!

Dr. Eldridge was great. Very caring and willing to answer any and all questions. His office staff was also very helpful. I could tell everything was going to be great when staff at the hospital asked who was doing my surgery and I would say his name. They said he was such a great person.

Lap Band 11/07/08

Actually my first visit with Dr. Eldridge wasn't for the lapband, but my gallbladder removal! He was recommended to me for the lapband by my primary physician. He is one of the greatest doctors I have had the priviledge to meet and to be a patient of. He makes the time to discuss any and everything his patients may ask of him and has a terrific smile everytime I see him! He has a terrific staff that are also a reflection of his personality! He cares very much about his patients and the courses they need to follow post op! His staff ensures that you understand when you leave each visit. Every topic of the lapband surgery was discussed not only in his seminar but on an individual basis when I went in for my first consultation. I do not believe I could have chosen a better surgeon for my lapband except for maybe his partner, Dr. Holsaeter, they are a great team of physicians! I would rate Dr. Eldridge the highest I could because of all the factors in the whole makeup of this process, the people he has on his staff, his own personality, and his expertise in this field! If you have any question, make a call and get an appointment! You will not be disappointed, he is just a terrific doctor and a great man!

Dr. Eldridge is very good, and very honest has a real good bedside manner. His staff are just wonderful and very helpful and he will answer any question that you have before and after surgery I think he is just great. He did tell me that all the surgery he has done only 4 had to have new port. I would refer him to every one . I was a challenge to him because of other surgery that I had occured and alot of scar tissue but he was able to band me. I was like a problem child to him. He does expect you to follow his orders on the diet and just to do the best you can. He does see you 2 weeks after surgery and then four weeks to get your first fill and then 6 week for the first year.

I met with him on April 26, 2006 and he is the best! He really took his time explaining things to me. He was joking around and I really appreciated his humor. I could tell he is really respected in his field. I hope that I can get this done because I know he will help me make this tool work for me! :)
He really makes sure that you know this is not an easy fix, that this is something to be used as a tool. He went through all the risks and all the possible things that could happen. He told me how many people he has had problems with. It was the end of the day and he still spent 30 mins with me going through everything- even after he knew I watched an online presentation. I respected that.

He was very apologetic for my having to wait and for any interuption. He seemed very busy. He did not seem to mind my questions and seemed eager to help me. I had gone to another surgeons seminar and he would not even see me until my insurance approved the surgery. they sent info to insurance and insurance denied because of not enough information. They did not try any harder. Dr.Eldridge assistant, Vickie has been very helpful getting my records and keepng in touch with my insurance co. So far so good!
