2nd surgery that was not needed. Thanks god I survied this frighting time in my life.
I would not recommend the use of Dr Driscoll. I have done well since my surgery but have had some complications.
- 3 GI Bleeds (Pouch Ulcers)
- Abdominal post surgical hernia (required 2nd surgery 1 year later)

I would tell all of you to do your homework on Your Dr. No all you can about the person who will be responsible for your life or death.
I was opened a 2nd time a day after my surgery due to a poorly read upper GI study that showed a leak that did not exist.
I have lost over 180 lbs and would do it all over, But not with this Docter!

My first impression of Dr. Driscoll was that he what he was doing. He informed me of all the risk and benefits of this surgery. His office supplied me with sufficent follow up information to read. The consultation meetings with the nutritionist and psychologist where very helpful. The office staff where very helpful and friendly. There aftercare program is very structured and helpful, they don't leave you out there by yourself to deal with the changes and after effects. The group meetings that are offered every Thursday are also very comforting and helpful, it gives you a chances to talk to other that have gone through the same experiences and you.
