I can't describe just how wonderful this man is! He made me feel at ease from the moment he walked in the door. I was very nervous and my anxiety was very high, but he just 'smoothed' everything out and helped me to feel comfortable with him. He treated me as a human being, my size was almost secondary besides the fact that my size was the reason I was there! He was very honest and upfront about everything. The risks and benefits of the surgery, the fact that I would need a support system, how he started in Bariatric surgery just everything. For example, on October 29th I have a Sleep Study scheduled, he must have told me 3 times to tell the Admissions desk and the staff on the floor to page him, get him on his computer, call him, somehow get ahold of him. Why? So he can be sure to come in and say hello to me. I have never had a Doctor like this before. He really emphasized the fact that aftercare is extremely important and that I would need to follow his structured diet right after the surgery, I need to see a nutritionist for the diet. Great, Got better each time I saw him,They are very wonderful and caring people,Nothing he his and all around great guy,He will always do his best to make them feel better and letting them know everything they need to know about the process,alot,yes,told me all the pros and cons and prepared me for all,he is winderful,they are both great, Like any other Dr.They cannot read your mind. You need to ask all questions you are concerned about. Besure to remind him in everyway on letting him know on where your negitive and having problems. sometimes his nurse can answer them better for you.
