Karina McArthur, M.D. Karina McArthur, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon who is passionate about working with patients to meet their weight loss goals. Dr. McArthur received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. She completed an internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and a residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She completed a fellowship in bariatric surgery and minimally invasive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. McArthur believes in creating a program specific to each patient. She strives to best serve her patients by making sure they understand all of their options and selecting the path that will best fit their individual lifestyles.
