• Designed an experiment aimed at locating mutations in the rpoB gene in E. coli that result from exposure to antibiotics leading to resistance. Designed an experiment that would gain qualitative and quantitative insight on how E. coli develops acid resistance utilizing the three acid resistance systems, oxidative, arginine dependent, and glutamine dependent.
