I can't express how thankful I am for meeting Dr Rekkas, Sam and Valerie. They are all so helpful and caring. From the moment I started my journey to having surgery they did everything they could to keep me informed and make the process as easy as possible for me. I had surgery almost a month ago and can tell you I have no regrets...I am loving this 2nd chance I was given to make things right, become healthy and remain healthy. Anyone thinking of having surgery, please do yourself a favor and contact Dr. Rekkas or attend one of his seminars. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
Dr. Rekkas and his staff are the best in the business, period. If you are in the Southeastern part of the country, or anywhere else for that matter, you couldn't do yourself a bigger favor than contacting his office. I'm about 10 days post op from the surgery, and everything I was told would happen has happened in order. I consider myself extremely fortunate for having found Dr. Rekkas, Sam and Valerie. They are kind, compassionate and competent. What more could you ask?
Having a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy was the best decision I ever made. I am 4 months post-op and already down 63 pounds and 4 dress sizes! I feel better, have more energy, and am able to enjoy doing fun and exciting things with my family I never would have done before surgery. Dr. Rekkas and his staff have been supportive throughout the entire process.
