Elaine Lozano Dietitian / Nutritionist MS, RDN

Elaine Lozano is a registered dietitian. She joins Inova Medical Group with over ten years of nutrition education experience. Her graduate work focused on nutrition throughout the life cycle, particularly as to how nutrition affects the developmental years during pregnancy, infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Elaine has a special interest in weight management, especially as it relates to developing other medical conditions. She appreciates the relationship that balancing weight loss with everyday life may have for an individual. Elaine is interested in coaching individuals to help them achieve a healthy relationship with their nutrition, and ultimately a healthy lifestyle.

Elaine’s passion for nutrition led her to found and develop a culinary nutrition program with Fairfax County Public Schools aimed at fostering nutrition awareness and improved food choices at the middle school level. 

A native of Northern Virginia, Elaine currently resides in Fairfax County with her husband, two teen-aged children and dog. In her spare time she likes to cook, bike, and spend time with family.
