  • About Me

Jasmine received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO in 2013. While at Truman State University, Jasmine discovered her passion for helping people through food and nutrition. Her desire to help people better understand nutrition, improve health through diet and navigate nutrition therapy for medical concerns lead her to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian.

Jasmine received her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from University of Illinois at Chicago and became a Registered Dietitian in 2016. After working almost 2 years as a Registered Dietitian for Women, Infants, and Children in St. Louis, MO, she relocated to Chicago, IL and began working as a Clinical Dietitian across 4 Chicagoland hospitals.  Her experience includes inpatient (tube , feeding, diet education, and critical care nutrition) and outpatient settings (cancer and diabetes nutrition). Her areas of interest include weight management, bariatric surgery, and culinary nutrition.

In November 2022, Jasmine joined the Northwestern Medicine Bariatric Team where she is currently helping patients with medical nutrition therapy both before and after surgery. Because of her expertise in weight management, Jasmine was a selected speaker for CAN TV’s Equal Hope segment with Dr. Veronica Johnson, educating about weight management and debunking nutrition myths during National Nutrition Month 2023.
