Paid cash for consult with her as she was not on my insurance plan. She never gave information about post-op diet as she wanted me to make numerous follow-up visits in order to get the post-op info.
Two weeks after my RNY,(several months after my initial appointment, btw) she mailed me a copy of a pre-op diet plan to follow.
My spouse had the same experience with her as well. We would not recommend this "professional."
Barbara is very upbeat, with an infectous laugh. She specializes in obesity and bariactric patients, is a good listener and gives you the tools nessesary to go forward after surgery with minimal dietetic issues. Great to work with!
Barbara specializes in Bariatric Patients and is very knowledgeable. She worked with me to find things in my diet that will help me to be successful.
Barbara Correll is absolutely TOPS in her field. She not only is a highly trained and skilled dietition but she also never recommends any products( vitamins protein, etc.) without researching them herself first! She has her own team of testers and a network of other researchers to help her find the BEST available products! Not only does she tell you the best products, but she also tells you WHAT makes them the best. I don't think that you can find anyone more skilled and "in the know" about obesity surgery related diet.
