Baylor Hospital
Absolutely BEST hospital I've EVER been to! I LOVED it! About 30 minutes before surgery, I was introduced to a lovely lady named Deborah, who is the Bariatric coordinator in the hospital. She wanted to know if I had any concerns, requests, needs, etc.
I told her I was in need of a breastpump. When I arrived at my room post-op, there was a hospital grade double electric breastpump with all the supplies waiting.
She checked on me multiple times during my stay. It was great.
The room's at this hospital were great, because they had cameras installed, so the nurses wouldn't be in and out during the night. They noticed right when I woke up and were immediately in to administer meds, help me to the restroom, etc. It was amazing not being woken up every hour to "check on me." That was so dreaded at previous hospitals.
The rooms were amazing and the hospital looks more like a hotel than a hospital. They give the person with you a lunch vaucher for their restaurant and there are complimentary pastries on the first floor and in all the waiting rooms there is a cappuccino maker, fully stoked!
I was so incredibly impressed.
If you live in a 50 mile radius of this hospital, GO HERE! It is amazing! You are treated great. The nurses are great! I have ZERO complaints!
Baylor Frisco is the way to go!
The nurses all rocked..even the ones who couldn't find my veins!
The room was a suite with a sofa, chair in a visitor area inside the pt room that had a TV independent of the patient!!
VERY NICE!!
