The hospital was very clean and modern. The staff was very informative to me and my family

The staff was wonderful when they were there......obviously very under-staffed. I felt bad for the nurses.

It took on average 30 minutes to answer my calls........

Step Down Unit was very noisy, did not get any sleep,and one of the patients in the room kept having BM accidents, so I was sick to my stomach having to inhale that all day.

The bathrooms were horrible...smelled of urine....blood droplets all over the floor.......soiled laundry piled up in the rooms and bathrooms.....was very dissappointed, especially considering it was in Barrington. Would not recommend this hospital.

I review the hospital on this website and some comment were good and some were bad, but I had to find out for my self, the nurses and cna's were excellent I have to be honest I could not ask for a better caring environment, I really need to thank all of the staff that help me on the 4th floor, Kyleen, Michelle, Debbie,Cindy and the Cna Beatrice these ladies were excellent care giver to me.
