Hialeah Hospital (COE) Hospital
Well, first I like to thank GOD without this it would not been possible. I like to thank my Nurses David, Nancy and Sues. And all the Staff at Hialeah Hospital. To my Dr. Sosa (He is my ANGEL MY gift from GOD). You are a very SPECIAL Person in my LIFE. I can't thank you enough. May GOD keep on BLESSING you and your Family.
I had an excellent experience at the hospital, aside from my physical pain, which had nothing to do with them.
The employees are very competent and extremely warm and affectionate which I greatly appreciated because surgery is such a delicate and difficult time.
My only complaint: more of their employees need to improve their English. They should also ask a patient before beginning talks with them whether they speak English or Spanish. I had a terrible experience in my recovery immediately post-op when I had the tubes down my throat and couldn't understand the nurse's Spanish instructions; of course I couldn't tell her so because I had tubes down my throat and couldn't talk. It was a frantic experience and only served to make me panic, when she should have spoken to me in English.
In general I highly recommend this hospital for bariatric patients. They were always eager to answer questions and sencerely cared about my needs. My family openly expressed that everyone there treated them kindly and assisted in making them feel at home. Even the chairs were over-sized to make it more comfortable for those people who can't fit in smaller (normal) chairs.
