I would recommend using this hospital. I did not have one experience in the 2 days I was there that I was not pleased with.

My only negative comments were that the nursing staff did not seem to be aware of things I was not suppose to drink (offered me some 7-up to drink) and nobody hooked up my CPAP until I asked them to. However, the main bariatric nurse was out of town at the time of my surgery.

The nursing staff was very attention and responded very quickly when I pushed the call button. However, my surgery was scheduled for a time that the bariatric RN was out of town (I knew this ahead of time), and I don't feel they were well versed in bariatric patient's needs. They offered me diet pepsi or diet 7-up (we aren't suppose to have carbonation), put straws in my drinks (we aren't suppose to use straws), and one even asked me if I wanted to eat something before I left the hospital! This is a relatively new program here - Dr. Trotter moved to the area about 1 1/2 years ago and has been working hard to get a good program set up. But I was very impressed with the nurses!
