The only thing I could say negative about the hospital was the ICU nurse Sharon who lied to my family.

I had a nurse who was incompetent and allowed me to endure pain for 2 hours, before I threw a fit and demanded pain medication. She had not listened to my statement regarding my IV, thus allowing it to infiltrate and then she removed it, because she didn't want to have to redo it. Then I was put on liquid medication which she was very slow in administering. I did however receive better care from all of the other staff than I have ever received anywhere else. They genuinely do care about their patients and made my stay very comfortable.

Holzer Hospital is a good hospital. I thought the response time of the nurses in the CCU unit a bit slow, but otherwise the care was good.

THe staff was great but I thought they seemed a bit understaffed. I didn't care for the CCU care but the surgical floor staff was GREAT!

I was in ICU for about 11 days, very ill. My only criticism is that my husband should have been allowed to spend more time with me (while in ICU)to help me cope with the fear of the comorbidities. Keeping him away from me was not in his best interest, either, because our separation added to his anxiety. But overall, I would strongly recommend this hospital and particularly the ICU staff.

My experience at Holzer was very very good. The hospital was clean, the nurses and staff were very friendly and responsive to my needs. I have only good praise for Holzer Clinic and the people I meet there.

Holzer has a wonder facility and the staff in the Weight Loss Center couldn't be more caring and supportive. They are a God send.
