Kansas University Medical Center Hospital
I could not have asked for a better staff of nurses and aides! They were always willing to do whatever you wanted them to do to make you comfortable. As in any hospital, getting any sleep was a challenge, but they did try their best not to disturb you when you were trying to sleep. I cannot give the men and women of the 5th floor enough praise! Also had great respiratory therapists. All the staff at KU just made this the best experience possible for me.
The only problem I had was the bed didn't steer right kept banging into everything and the space in the hall way was almost too tight to turn the bed into the x-ray room had to bang several times to get it lined up. The other problem is the toilet in the CCU rooms when you lift up the cover the back ledge hits you right in the middle of the back so you have to lean forward very very uncomfortable, had to ask for a stand alone toilet.
