Lockport Memorial Hospital Hospital
Very nice staff for the most part. The overnight staff was not so good, but the others were good. One nurse, Rosa, was very attentive and caught a complication I had very quickly. My only real complaint was when I had my first bowel movement in the hospital it went into the "hat", and was left there for several hours (the overnight staff..) and needless to say I was very embaressed at the odor in my room- an obvious patient dignity issue... otherwise it was good considering and I had a private room as all bariatric patients do.
I had an exceptional AA+++ Surgeon (Dr. Anthony DiBenedetto), and I received wonderful care at LMH. The hospital has rooms used specifically for bariatric patients, with nurses trained to care for bariatric patients. The hospital also has new "larger size" beds, large gowns, and new equipment. The entire staff was caring and compasionate. I personally had a wonderful hospital stay, and I would highly recommended Dr. DiBenedetto, and LMH for bariatric surgery.
