maimonides medical center Hospital

I feel they need a total overhaul. When I had to go to the 5th floor the morning of the surgery the area where we had to wait was extremely uncomfortable and extremely dirty even with coffee stains on the wall. The changing area is cold, nasty and not warm at all. The holding area before surgery is extremely cold. Streachers piled up next to one another I could shook the next patients hand. They even had a Highly, I mean Highly contaminated person come through that area because they didnt want to bring the through recovery and contaiminate them. The rooms need to be up dated. People did come to clean them everyday but the TV didnt work properly, the Little desk and little cabinate was broken. The noise from the staff at night is rediculous. I did not sleep at all the whole time I was their. Couldnt wait to leave. Visiters had no where to sit and No visitors bathrooms on the floor. The emergency room is a horror show. I went back because of pain. Was admitted. They did take care of me a first ASAP than after that disappeared. How can you admit someone and leave the on a streacher in a tiny walkway. Streachers were touching one another. I was constantly being bump, and moved around. No once after all my test was done and it showed that I did not have anything wrong did they ever offer me a glass of water. I was in their already 9 hours and was thirsty. I asked to no response. The next morning it is 10am and no one even asked me if I wanted something to eat. I am admitted to the hospital. I was told I had to have someone get it for me because they only had cereal which I wasnt allowed to eat. So now no for or water in over 11 hours. No spleep, feeling worse than when I arrived. The smell of feces was so strong I amost vomitted. And I AM A FOLLOW EMPLOYEE I COULD IMAGINE HOW THEY TREAT OTHER PATIENTS. I WILL NEVER GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AGAIN. My vitals were never even checked again since triage. There 12 hours after someone drew my blood and the dr saw me and told me what test I need no one even came back till the following morning to even let me know how the test went. Very Very Poor emergency room. I even saw people walking out that really should of stayed.
