Methodist Weight Management Institute Hospital
I had a good hospital stay. The people were very friendly. I noticed that if you didn't know where to go, they would walk you to where you needed to be, instead of giving directions. That is very helpful for me since I didn't know the hospital. A couple of people I really bonded with. Then there was "the one bad nurse" but thank goodness I only had one night shift with her! Overall, I was very happy with the care I recieved. The food (liquids ;-) were as good as they could be.
There was only ONE thing that was lacking in this hospital. The caring and concern from the nurses at night. Some of these nurses I had during the day were wonderful but, when night-time came they turned the other cheek. I had made a mess on my bed one night from the drain and the nurse came in, put the bottom sheet on and left the top sheet and 2 blankets to do for myself. I had spent almost the whole day with this nurse and she'd done anything I needed but, I think she might have been getting tired. That's the only type problems that I had.
