i can't say enough good things re NEMC i was lucky and did not have a roomate and the nursing staff was excellent, my surgeon dr julie kim stopped by to see me in the post op room and also made it a point to see me again before she left for the day, the entire staff did a wonderful job and i was able to get home in only 2 days, still sore but every day is getting better! would highly recommend this program to anyone considering WLS, very comprehensive, even the nutritionist and the head shrinker made it a point to see me during my stay

I have yet to have surgery but so far--all staff is very nice. They seem to be very helpful and I have no worries about my stay there when the time comes.

My stay at Tufts NEMC was very positive. The nursing staff was efficient, friendly, intelligent and dedicated to their jobs. The medical students would stop by briefly in the morning during rounds to check on my progress. The cleaning staff was very thorough. My bed was comfortable. The room was a little chilly, so bring a nice bathrobe or a button-up sweater. I'd rather have it a little chilly than too hot, so it didn't bother me. It was very quiet at night, so I was able to sleep without any problem. I was very pleased with my stay.

I have many nurse and doctors at nemc they are wonderful

Some of the nurses were helpful, but my expereince was it took 2 hours many times to get pain medication or help to the restroom. I had a floor nurse share my room so it became party central during all hours.

I cannot say enough about NEMC and all that help and guide you at the Obesity Consult Center and all that work there. They are there for you and don't forget you after you have your surgery. They don't abandon you - they are there for you!

Staff was excellent and hospital stay was not bad..was my first time ever being in the hospital.

They have large chairs, large johnny's, and special beds for bariatric surgery patients. They go out of their way to make sure that we are comfortable and well cared for at all times.
