i was delighted to be placed on a bariatric floor, however a day after surgery i was sent to a different floor, and the staff on the floor made it a horrible experience. i went from a floor that was sympathtic to an overweight person, and everyone there was knowledgeabe about our needs to a floor, that did not meet my needs basic ( helping in and out of bed, helping in restroom, did not change sheets in 3 days, did not bring water in three days, would not answer nurse call) i complained to my doctor, as well as the hospital administrators, but recieved no response.
