What a great doctor! He is quick, painless and confident. I have not had any problems. His office is a little backed up at times, but other then that they were great!

Dr Wooldridge is one of the best out there. He takes his time and answers questions like he has all the time in the world. his nurses are great and sweet. if I had to do it all again I'd Definitely pick him ! I recommend him to anyone n Louisiana thinking of getting surgery.

Dr. Wooldrige was very informative and patient. I enjoyed his knowledge and willingness to work with me. if i had to do it all over again i would pick him again!

I looooooove Dr. Wooldridge. Not only did he answer every question I ever had with patience, he has been extremely involved post-op. The whole team is open to questions. They tell you to call if you have ANY concern or question. I feel like I call them at least once a week. They are great. Two weeks after surgery I was getting concerned about bathroom issues and a lot more pain, I called and the nurse gave me instructions and said she'd call back in 2 days to check on me. Two days after I got a call from the Ochsner Bariatric Surgery team... I expected it to be Tara, Dr. Wooldridge's nurse, but it was Dr. Wooldridge. He has genuine concern and wants to be involved in your overall health. He wants to see you succeed. He is amazing! He has set a high standard for ALL of my doctors in the future! I cannot sing his praises enough. If you are looking for an amazing surgeon... you really should consider him and his team!

My experience with Dr. Wooldridge and his team has been excellent. He has a very caring attitude and an excellent bedside manner. All of my questions are usually answered by him or his staff before I even ask them! The entire pre op process went smoothly. Recovery from the surgery was MUCH easier than I ever imagined it could be. I was back at work 1 week after surgery! My scars are tiny and have been virtually painless. I was a tad bit concerned about the care I would receive post op at the hospital (because I have had very poor experiences there before), but I have nothing but positive things to say about the nursing care I received during my stay.

Dr. Wooldrige is very personable. He answers all my questions, even the silly ones. I continue to be very impressed with him and his team. Had some paperwork issues in the beginning but but it was all staightened out and my confidence in the office staff is great now. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

I have only seen him at the seminar, have been dealing with the PA Amber Plazance.. Good so far though...

I wished I actually met with the doctor more than once a week before surgery...

He is a very knowlegable man.his staff is great they always go out of there way to call you back if you have a problem. i didnt like the fact that he isnt the most talkative person and he just all about facts. future patients should realize that he isnt there to be your \"friend\" he is there to be our surgeon. i dont know about after care yet i will see soon though. i was explained ALL the risk of surgery i think a billion times so i knew the risk. i think a really great doctor should have both bedside manner and surgical competence. dr richardson is very skilled in surgical competence however not to much in bedside manner but you have to stop and ask yourself something. do i want a doctor who is friendly and doesnt know what he is doing or do i want a doctor who knows what he is doing and isnt that friendly. all i can say is that i have NO complications at all and that is fine by me.

Msy first impression of Dr Richardson was that he was rather informative when he talked about the different procedures. He really doesn't have a sense of humor but he is straight and to the point. Which I love. Surgical competence rates higher on my report card more than bedside manner. I would refer all of my friends to him if they were interested in WLS.

Dr. Richardson is a wonderful doctor who cares very much about his patients. He is very honest and tells things like it is; I appreciate that! I had a problem with one of my incisions not healing properly after lap band surgery and he treated it aggressively to ensure I did not run into complications. I'm so thank for that. I would rate him as a great doctor overall. He staff is also very caring and always calls me back if I have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend him.
