I was extremely pleased with my experience at Royal Jubilee. Having Bariatric surgery, I stayed in a new area of the hospital. 80 percent of the rooms where private, with the other 20 percent being shared with only one other person. The care staff were very professional, and the hospital was very clean. My room was provided with a flat screen TV, and phone. All the equipment was new and the rooms were designed for both the patient and family. There were no set visiting hours as visitors were welcome anytime, as well as having the ability to stay with you in your room. I would strongly recommend this hospital for surgery.

The hospital is quaintly old and very clean, the staff is dedicated to this ward by their own choice, plus there is a plethora of very helpful nursing students to attend to your every need when the nurses are busy.

I would have liked to be a bit more private and not used to men being with women in one ward, but that's ok, my overall experience was good, the staff wee very helpful and yes I will go back again if the need is ever there.

I was very glad to come out of Royal Jubilee and I hope never to have to go in there. But I do have to say the nurses do try to be there, most of them anyhow
