Pre Regestering for surgery made check in a breeze and the staff was very kind. Dr. Oakley is very kind and reassuring. Recovery had an angel that helped control my pain levels. My call light was always answered in a timely manner. I saw a lot of kind and careing staff, but I also had a difficult admission and was just glad to be discharged. For example, my arms are bruised from IV trys, no privacy curtain when my cath was removed and one whole night without pain meds on day two. I told the nurse in the afternoon I was allergic to the meds and was having reactions...skin crawling, itching, and feeling freaked out. She thought it was the sheets and wanted to give me a second dose, which I refused. She then suggest a smaller dose and I refused. Finally in the morning she called my MD and got an order change for pain meds. Also I was never offered anything except a cup of water...what happened to clear liquids? Otherwise, a nice guy gave me a wheel chair ride to my car and was very pleasant. I wish that Meridian St Lukes were listed as I spend the night in their ER last night...Day 5 and while I had things I hadn't thought about prodded, scanned, cultured and tested....each and every staff was kind. The ER Doctor was awesome, kind and professional, she made me feel heard, understood and safe. Thank you St. Lukes Meridian. .

Great experience. The 6E staff is phenominal, and the surgery staff was good too. They went above and beyond.

The hospital and staff are outstanding. The billing department is run by idiots so keep records of everything.
