nursing staff was excellent, there was one cna you could tell didnt like her job, i asked for ice chips and 2 hours later i finally asked my nurse and got them in 2 minutes. other than that my stay was good.
The hospital was great and most of the staff was great. The parking sucked for my family. I really have no complaints.
My biggest issue with this hospital was that they serve me regular jello on the 3rd day of my stay in the hospital. Due to this I was very sick and had to remain in the hospital for 2 extra days. They need a lot of help there so it was a really good thing that my Mother was able to stay with me.
the staff was very courtious and told my family everything that was going on. i felt very safe in the hands of these people and recommend Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center to anyone that wants to recieve top-of-the-line care.
Everything was top notch except for my 3rd shift nurse, who was dreadfully slow in bringing my pain medication when I called for it.
I had an overall good experience at the hospital except the last night when they tried to give me another IV and I refused it...
I had such a great experience--this is a clean, quiet, freindly hospital on a smaller scale from the ones I've been in before. The rooms for bariatric patients are all private, and many have windos with views. The nursing staff was readily available, kind, and competent. Big thanks to Rebecca and Shirley, my day and night nurses, they were great. THe hospital even has chairs that convert to bed/cots so a family member can stay with you overnight. I just could not be any happier! Terrific service!
All my answers would ahve been excellent - if it weren't for the care I received during my leak test. I was wisked in, made to wait, then test only a second then sat out in the hallway for atleast 30 minutes. I was sick to my stomach, in pain, and no one came by at all!! I had to scream and bang on the wall until someone heard me.
I was re-admitted on 4/27 for pain and infection. Again, the only complaint I had was radiology. I was made to wait for over 30 minutes in a dark room. I was released on 4/29.
