This is a big city hospital. They handle everything from major organ transplants to treating gun shot wounds, but the surgeon running the bariatric program, Dr. John meilahn is the best in the region.

So impressed. Couldn't have been better. (Well, they could have gotten me back to my room quicker after post op swallowing study.) Transport was the only dept I was not happy with.

The only complaint I have is the cleanliness of the room I was put in after being moved from the ICU. the floor was filthy and even when I mentioned it to a staff member nothing was done about it.

With the exception of the uncoordinated patient room visits by the medical professionals (it was like a constant parade), I found Temple to be very professional, responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful of my needs during my stay.

Due to a bed shortage, I was in the surgical ICU for my entire stay. It was great, the nurses were really attentive, and I was very pleased.

i really liked it. very pleasant. nurses were great. my doc is great too. over all was very nice.

The staff showed a genuine concern for my health. They gave me good care. I'm considering changing my primary physician to one that works there.

The hospital was great. The staff was great. Dr. Meilahn was great. My only complaint is the anesthesiologist. She intubated me while i was still awake - absolute torture!!
