The Women's Hospital at Centennial Hospital
The only complaint I had/have was the tv station selection; pretty muched sucked; I had a great time with the staff; knew they'd be there at the touch of a button if I needed them. I need to go back and visit them, sober; yes the pain meds had me goofy, so I think I was even more fun for everyone there.
I found the hospital to be very accomodating and the staff to be understanding and friendly. The nurses actually had personalities and interacted with you unlike other nurses I have dealt with. Cara and Emily 3rd floor were my nurses almost every day of the 3 days and when I needed something they were there to help. They also were not rude or snobby in any way like other hospital nurses I have had. Bonnie the check in nurse when I arrived was very helpful and had an overall sense that she loved her job and wanted to make sure our experience was great. I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking into this surgery.
The care was excellent and the staff were superb. Marti on days and Vicky at night took such good care of me and were super sweet. My last day, Alicia and Alison took turns getting me ready to go home. They were all awesome. The clear liquid diet needs some work. The off-brand jello was inedible (You could have nailed it to the wall!) and the chicken broth was way too salty. The chair that made into a bed was lower at the foot than the head and my mom had to fight to stay on it every night. LOL Well, funny to me, not so funny for her. Overall though, I would love to live closer to a hospital that offers such excellent and individualized care.
