I've never had less consistently competent nursing staff...ever. Some of the nurses and aides were outstanding. Others (mostly the night staff) were less likely to follow general procedures that I'm well aware of, intended to ensure my health and safety. My family decided to stay with me 24/7 to make sure I was being cared for properly. I really don't see myself as a demanding patient, and I realize that the nurses each had a substantial number of patients to look after. My concern was simply ability to follow standards for care, and I feel the nursing at Keck/USC didn't do a good job in my case.

The only thing I do not like is the parking structure. There is no indication for the main floor in the elevator and i ended up on 4 different floors before I got the right one; also there was nobody at the parking meter when I was ready to pay. I had to jump out of my car and run next to the elevator to pay cash for my parking ticket. They need a big sign in bold print to let people know. I had 6 cars behind me waiting.

There was a kind of ventilation test occurring outside my room, so the noise was a bit much, but when my door was closed, it wasn't so bad.
I would definitely stay here again.

The nurses and doctors were excellent

I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the staff, the nurses, the Dr.'s

I was really shocked how poor the staff was in taking care of me. Mainly dispensing pain meds and with personal hygiene help.

It is probably one of the finest teaching hospitals in the USA,accepting Medicare patients and specializing in high risk patients.

I was always getting awakened. The nurses, the daily blood test, the various cleaning/janitorial people. Their chicken broth is disgusting.

The hospital is incredible, unfortunately for me it was under renovations/construction during my stay and it sounded as if they were hammering the walls behind my bed ALL DAY!
