West Suburban’s program is fully accredited as a Center of Excellence by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons. It is one of only three BSCN-accredited facilities in the Chicagoland area to be recognized as a Center of Excellence. This designation means the program has met essential criteria that ensures it is fully capable of supporting a bariatric surgery care program.
