I had a great nurse and aid Wednesday and Thursday. The evenings weren't the same without the daytime nurses. I don't remember Tuesday (the day of) much. I only remember opening my eyes and saying, "are you still here?". lol..

I felt that everyone was extremely friendly and supportive. They made me feel very comfortable. I would definately use them again.

There was only one nurse who I had a problem with...I couldn't reach to wipe myself...to sore and hooked up to everything the same night as surgery.....she wouldn't do it acted as if she did not hear me.....lead me back to bed.....HOWEVER everyone else was wonderful and this did not overshadow all their efforts as they went the extra steps and made my hospital stay successful.

I waited for my call light to be answered on several occasions for quite a while. I had to remind the nurses and nurses aides that my catheter needed emptied. I also had to insist that my vital signs be taken, because at one point I had not had my vitals taken for 8 hours. I ended up having a slight fever (100.8) when someone did finally come in!

ER checkin was sloppy. Cat scan lady on night shift could use a little lesson on compassion and finesse. Dietary Dept. was more interested in being right than in accomodating. Lynn Kominski was not interested in my desires. She just gave me the info and did not listen to my concerns.

The only thing that needs improvement is an added BARIATRIC TREAMENT CENTER and financing to offset the rising cost of healthcare/or people who do not have health insurance and NEED this type of care.
