Dr. Glembot has an easy manner, answer question with honesty, concern and a frankness that I found very apealling. He is the genuine article. He explains all parts of the surgical process . Questions the patient to be sure they understand the risks as well as the benefits of the surgery. The office staff are knowledgable, kind and easy to work with. The hospital staff at WInchester medical Center took very good care of me and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Overall with the exception of MY insurance company and their high deductible and high co pays, this may be the best thing that I have done for myself ever. In six month I have gone from having sleep apnea , high BP, difficult mobility and joint pain, pre-diabetes to a very healthy person. I take no medications , have no sleep apnea and my sugar levels are normal..

I was very impressed with Dr. Glembot and his staff, got good service and my surgery went very well. Five stars. Everyone has been extremely courteous and professional, and all the staff in the office give patients all the time they need - you never feel rushed out the door.

Two minor concerns: organization and consistency of the sleeve patient education printed materials was a little iffy (actual patient education classes and info were good), and I would prefer to be able to follow up with the surgeon, rather than a PA (no complaints about the specific PA, just my personal preference in follow-up).

I was introduced to Dr. Glembot first on May9, 2009 at the info session he was conducting on WLS. After hearing his presentation and just getting the feeling that he was a genuinely caring and kind person, I was ready to sign up for my srugery. 3 Red Flags at that time prevented me from moving further. FFWD to Feb 3, 2011 where Dr. James Wiedower, Glembots colleague presented the info session. Again, ready to sign up. Dr. Wiedower saw me through my inital consults on up to pre surgical consults but due to a hospital staff issue, my surgery with Wiedower was cancelled and the first reschedule was 2 weeks later with Glembot. Upon my appt with Glembot he was very nice and had proven to have already read my records and was very well informed about the situation in which I had to switch last minute. He didn't mind and seems very glad to be taking on my surgery now. His dispostion is rare. He took time to get to know ME. He is very caring, very thorough, and I am glad he'll be doing my surgery.

Dr Glembot was my PCP first choice for surgeon even if I had to wait a little to get him. I have to say that after hearing him speak at the orientation I was sold. His personality is open and makes you feel secure. He tells you the truth even if it is hard to hear and helps you make an informed choice about your care. When I did have some post-op complications he was quick to respond and did not make me feel as if I was bothering him with my problems. His office is open, his staff helpful, and his education amazing. He is continually seeking to advance his skill and keeps up to date on new information. I am very glad we made this choice and that my PCP recomended him.

I love this hospital! I have been in several over the years, from giving birth, conjestive heart failure, and broken bones and this is by far the best I have ever been too. The staff didnt make me feel like freak, they were supportive and when they didnt know the answer to some weird question they when and found out...fast! All the bariatric patients have private rooms and the surgical support system seemed very educated and modern. The only issue with the parking they are working on and expanding, but to make up for it they have transportation day and night to and from the lobby and parking lots, as well as free velet parking.

I first impression of Dr. Glembot was that he really cares about his patients and takes the time to sit down with you and make sure you understand what will and can happen. My first appointment with him was not the first time I had met him, but the first time I had seen him as a patient. As a family member of a person who had this surgery 2 years before. He explain everything to the family after the surgery and showed his concern about everything. This is why I waited to get in to see him I wanted to make sure the person who did my surgery was just that person.

The dieticians and food service staff were just wonderful; caring and responsive. The nursing staff was pretty good, but they were always so busy. They were pretty good about coming when you called them.

There was one guy in the x-ray department that made me feel like a piece of garbage, but hopefully I will never have to see him again. Dealing with him was the worst experience in the entire process.

Staff is wonderful. Hospital sponsors a support group for both new/interested and long term patients. Meets the 3rd thursday of the month at the conference center.

Everyone there was soooo nice and comforting and easy to get along with. If I have to be in the hospital then I want to be at WSC.
