Dr Jeff Rosen and the group at LifeWeigh are fabulous! They emphasize changing your life and make sure you are ready for the surgery! (I had Laproscopic RNY gastric bypass) They are all very responsive to any questions and are great with follow up.

I first met Dr Rosen when he presented a seminar on WLS. What impressed me was his concern with the individual's well being and his willingness to work with people on weight loss even if they didn't want to do surgery. We spent a lot of time talking about my alternatives. Life style change is paramount.

He has a great sense of humor so his bedside manner is excellent. As far as surgical competence...I feel great and my recovery was very rapid. He is overly cautious. I'd recommend him and his group to anyone considering WLS!

Wonderful...great! Dr. Rosen and his staff were very nice and very to the point of what needs to be done and what to expect. They emphasized tha the lap band is not the cure, but a tool to help you lose weight, but you still have to do a lot of work on your own!

My first impression of Dr. Rosen was that he had cinnamon fresh breath. No really he was very nice and down to Earth. He explained things in a very clear manner, but not to the point where I felt like an idiot. His staff is very close as they work together in 2 offices. They are all incredibly friendly and when they talk to you, they sit down with you and make you feel like you are the only one that matters. It is all about you. Dr. Rosen, as well as his staff emphasize how important aftercare is. They also stress the importance of the pre-op care. They want to make sure that you prepare your body for what is to come. I am very pleased by his surgical competence, I have very small incisions that after only 3 weeks post-op I can see will hardly be visible. He takes the precaution of placing a G-tube or feeding tube, just in case the ability to eat or drink becomes compromised. The G-tube comes out after a month post-op. The risks were all discussed in detail, and while they may have frightened me I could see that the benefits of this surgery completely outweigh the negatives. I am completely satisfied with Dr. Rosen overall and look forward to my continued work with him in the many follow-ups to come. If there would be one thing that I could ask him to improve upon, it would be to be able to see him more in the hospital. I was in the hospital for 4 days and saw him 3 times. I didn't even see him for my discharge. I saw a top trauma surgeon who was very nice and friendly. Of course, I think Dr. Rosen was not feeling well that day. I won't hold that against him. HE IS GREAT!!!

I have been very pleased with my care from Dr. Rosen. From the start I was impressed with the fact that the focus is on my overall outcome. The choice of RNY vs Lap Band was all my own after he provided the information on both(I choice RNY). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Linda had surgery herself so she has personal knowledge of what you are going through. Dana(dietician) and Joey(exercise phy.) are both very knowledgeable and supportive. The exercise plan they you develop together is tailored to your strengths and abilities. I felt very comfortable relating what worked and did not work for me and finding better solutions. Dr. Rosen's practice is very much a team effort. They explain the goals that you need to complete prior to surgery. Initially I was rather resistent I just wanted to get insurance approval and get surgery done. After a couple of months I saw the value of the diet, exercise and behavior retraining. The focus of the group is very much doing what is best for the patient NOT just getting approval and doing surgery.

Dr Rosen's office staff was very professional and had a very caring environment his staff is right on top of things. Everyone was there to help answer any questions along this journey up to my surgery date and they were all very helpful. He has great follow up procedures and lots of groups for individuals to meet with others who can also help promote weight loss during this change in your life.

They all continue care long after your surgery. They are committed to you and your weight loss. I would recommend Dr. Rosen to everyone looking into weightloss surgery.

My impressions all along of Dr. Rosen and each member of his staff have been very high. They are professional but very caring and willing to work with you for your success. They are pretty demanding, but though it is very hard to stay in compliance, I'd rather have a doctor who will refuse to operate than one who just approves anybody for surgery. They emphasize aftercare and have a very structured support program. My only slight negative is that they did sort of ignore me while the legal fight with insurance was taking place. I just assumed this was an oversight (they cancelled an appointment and never mentioned re-scheduling). In the meantime I just kept seeing my primary physician monthly.

My first visit was great!!! Dr Rosen and all of his staff are super. They are very helpful and informative. I like the fact that they hold you accountable for meeting certain goals prior to surgery. They are great at designing a plan for you and reinforcing your tools for long-term success. Dr Rosen has a great personality and is full of enthusiasm for your health. I have my next visit in December and hopes he finds all my dietary and exercise goals met to his satisfaction.

I like Dr Rosen and the staff at The Wish Center. They are all inclusive. Each visit includes time with a nutritionist, exercise physiologist and psychologist. They also offer monthly support group meetings. rnrn

At my initital appointment with LifeWeigh Bariatrics I was totally impressed. I know when I made the appointment, I was told to be prepared to stay for at least 4 hours, however, I didn't know that I would be greeted with so much information and that I would meet with the nurse, the dietician, the exercise physiologist, take a EKG and Pulmonary test and then meet with the surgeon, Dr. Rosen. I was WOWED to say the least. I have my second appointment on Friday, August 29th and I am hoping that I will have some type of clue as to when I am going to have my surgery. Dr. Rosen is a very professional, straight to the point type of person, and I like that in him. Thus far, I believe that I have made the right decision to have my surgery with LifeWeigh Bariatrics. The entire team is great!
