As a bariatric motivational speaker to patients, wife and the mother of six gorgeous daughters, I weighed in at over 300 pounds and had a BMI of 49.9 with six deadly co-morbidity factors for 20 plus years. I was headed down a path to the grave. On January 29, 2007, I had bariatric surgery (Fobi Pouch), to help save my life. I have worked hard to stay within my weight management journey, and to date, I have lost 173 pounds. I am over-the-moon with my success, and can engage in physical recreation with my daughters and new grandson.
