Albert Losken Plastic Surgeon

Dr Losken performed a belt lipectomy and brachioplasty (arm lift) on me 09 Sept 04 (almost two months ago). I am beyond thrilled with the results! Dr. Losken was there the morning after surgery to check on me, and has been available for all of my follow-up questions ... even calling me from home on the weekends! From the first day, there was hardly a bruise after all of this work and my scaring is minimal. My recovery has been much faster than I expected and the pain was nothing like what I was expecting. I am planning a breast lift with Dr. Losken early next year and wouldn't even consider another surgeon. I have never felt rushed with my questions and concerns and his manner is very caring. I had a breast lift and a panniculectomy on February 11th,2004 and to date I am very pleased with the results. The recovery was not as bad as I thought it would be. I did have two JP tubes and still have them in. As for Dr. Losken, I would highly recommend him for any procedures relating to wls. He was caring and instilled confidence in me because he was so confident within himself without being arrogant.
APRIL UPDATE
I am so awesomely amazed at how kind and sensitive Dr. Losken is and it was so easy to trust him giving the circumstances that my best friend had with her wls surgeon. I am very pleased with Dr. Loskens post op care. I am doing very well and he was able to remove a total of 15lbs af flab. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon doctor. I really like this Doc. He came from high reviews from the chief of plastic surgery dept. at Emory University. Hes also done numerous t. t. and abdominal plastys as well as the panni.
Will see him again on Thursday January 15th 2004.
UPDATE
I was able to experience how wonderful this doc has been. My best friend had surgery by him and he was so good with taking care of her. Even though her surgery was at Emory (a teaching facility) he came and saw her every day and the residents came as well. He was very attentive to her. I will be using him as my plastic surgeon in the next few months. Dr. Losken has done the most surgeries on wls patients in the Atlanta area. The largest panniculectomy that he has done weighed 70 lbs.

My surgery will be March 17th, 2004 At Emory. I will be having a panniculectomy and a hernia repair at the same time. UHC is my insurance and will be paying for it all. I will post again after my surgery.
