Rafael Villalobos Plastic Surgeon D.O., F.A.C.O.S.

Dr. Villalobos was easy to get into for my first appointment. His office staff has been great start to finish. Dr. Villalobos has a wonderful bedside manner. He has a great sense of humor and we laughed a lot during our visits. He made me feel very comfortable throughout this entire process. He takes his time each visit and answers all my questions. I saw him twice before my Fleur de lis TT, lipo, breast lift, and breast implants. His resident Dr. Lindsey was also great. I had all my procedures done at once in an outpatient center. He came to see me before and again made me feel entirely comfortable. This was my 7th surgery in my life and I've never had a surgeon come to talk to me before they took me back. His staff followed up with me twice on the phone after I went home. I saw him at 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and will see him at 6 weeks. My gastric bypass surgeon recommended Dr. Villalobos. I would definately recommend him to all weight loss patients as well as anyone needing general plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. V is the BEST! I did a lot of research before choosing him and very happy I chose him. He did my tummy tuck 4 years ago and I have had so many compliments on it by several other Dr.s and people I have seen. I just had my arms done 2 months ago and they already look amazing! He is very personable and friendly taking his time with me answering any and all questions I had and believe me I had plenty! He was the one in his office who changed my dressings not a nurse I felt that was very personable. He listened to me and I felt I had his100 % attention at all times. I had my tummy tuck in Columbus office and arms in Mansfield office both offices and staff were very friendly and helpful worked very well with my schedule fitting me in. When looking for a plastic surgeon be very careful and do your home work I have seen some really bad jobs. If you are any where in Ohio Dr. V is worth the drive!

Dr. Villalobos was excellent to me in his office and through the first surgery which was a Breast Reduction and Lift. However, with the second surgery, the tummy tuck he was alright until I developed pain while still in the hospital and he never came to see me. They called some young intern who didn't even lift the bandages to see why I had an extreme burning pain not relieved by pain medication. The only thing the Intern said was that it was obvious I was in pain as my blood pressure and temperature were elevated. On the other side, my healing from both procedures went well and the end result is worth it. I recommend that you be more assertive with Dr. V. in securing his support to be there if anything goes wrong or appears to have done so. His skill and the outcomes are worth it.

I had a tummytuck & thighplasty in 2004. Dr. Villalobos said "everything that could go wrong with my surgery went wrong." I was hospitalized 2X for MRSA infection and nearly died. Office staff not knowledgeable about possible problems.No help with insurance. Dr did not see me once in hospital even though I was in for 18 days. I was off work nearly 3 months and have terrible scars. I would not recommend that anyone get a thighplasty. After the fact,I was told that infection is more
common with thighplasty. To this day, I have to take antibiotics for any kind of surgery including dental as a precaution for re-infection.

Not only was he exceptionally kind, his office staff couldn't have been nicer. Both at the office and for surgery, they were very professional and everything was always on time.

very wonderful and helpful doctor. would recommend anyone who needs surgery to talk and meet with him. he answers all of your questions. he doesn't make you feel like he is rushing you through. his office staff is the greatest. on my first visit everyone made you feel comfortable. i felt like i had known them for along time. i have given his cards to four of my friends, who are planning on having brst augmentation done. my surgery was august 30 and i have done great. i only missed 3 weeks of work. thanks for everything. you are all wonderful people and made my experience more comfortable.

Dr. Villalobos is an artisit. He is a kind, sensitive sweetheart of a man. He does an excellent job and his fees are very reasonable. I had an extensive round of surgery the first time and am scheduled for my last round. I'm very pleased with his work and highly recommend him. He has made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. He has made my dreams come true!

I have been seeing the doctor for over 2 yrs now as he has done several procedures on me. tummy, breast,face, arms, legs and midriff. The in 2-04 a breast augmentation. He has just been wonderful in the care I have received and the girls and nurses in his office have always been most helpful and there to answer any question you might have for them. Doctor V. takes the time to listen and that is so very important to me and he does explain all procedures in detail to me. I would recommend him to any one that needs to have skin removal done or any other plastic surgery done.

I'm still in my post surgical healing stage and so far so good :)

I am only two weeks post op after having a thigh lift, tummy tuck and a breast lift and I am already soooo thrilled. I have been very impressed by everyone in this office. I will post more at a later date.
