Was Very Nice! Told me he would refer me. I called the next day to tell the office what surgeon I wanted referred to and got the run around. Then contrary to his coments the day before.....He refused to write due to medical necessity. He wrote on a script...referring to surgeon for weight loss options PER PATIENT REQUEST. I feel he was probably put off by me not wanting to use a local surgeon. But everyone knows how important medical necessity is. ***update*** I have been seeing Dr. Sumer more lately because my surgeons office is not really addressing any health probs. I have been having...However, If it had not been for Dr. Sumer and his Nurse Practitioner Lisa Ballou...I probably would not have made it through the last year. Why I have these spells is still a mystery. But they have been diligently trying to find out what is wrong and being very supportive. My surgeons office just says .."cant be because of the surgery" Thanks ICPR in Pekin, Illinois
