PLASTICS IN TORONTO

Has anyone had plastics done in the GTA that was partially covered by OHIP? Wondering specifically about the Tummy Tuck and whatever can be done with the Thighs. Please give the names of the doctors that you've used and would recommend, also a heads up in regards to which doctors I should stay away from would also be beneficial. Thanks for your help

Panniculectomy or the removal of the apron of skin on the lower abdomen is sometimes covered by OHIP. A full tummy tuck is not covered. Thighs and arms are also not covered by OHIP.
Lots of folks on here recommend Dr. Narayanan Nandagopal at Scarborough General Hospital.
 

I have an appointment with this doctor next week. I've heard great things about him.
I have also heard that Derek Ford is good too. I beleive he has offices in Toronto.

I just had a FDL tummy tuck done at Scarborough Hospital with Dr. Sarah Wong she is an excellent surgeon with an excellent bedside manner.  OHIP covered the panni and I paid for the upgrade.  I am very happy with the results though still swollen.  I've never had a surgeon as kind and compassionate as her.
