I can't believe it it's a week Friday.....now I've seemed to have forgotten everything I learned haha...
2. Questions

1. I start Optifast......really dumb question...and yes I have the book etc.....what besides optifast do I take?
2. I have to go out of town tomorrow for a business appointment and won't be back til Friday night......they haven't given me my pro op appointment but I hope the can wait til Monday or anytime after Friday night for this...is it usually the week of surgery?

if you're going thru st joes in hamilton... you can only have optifast (flavoured with whatever sugar free flavourings or decaf coffee), sugar free jello, wate with crystal light, and broth (low sodium)!
good luck!!! the optifast isn't that bad.. myself i rather enjoyed the vanilla..and returned the chocolate for all vanilla!
i had my pre-op 2 weeks before surgery.. but no worries they WILL call you! but if you're going out of town i would suggest to call them and explain your situation! krista can be very accommodating!! and hey.. GOOD LUCK to you!

Congratulations. My surgery date was like that too - a week and a half notice - amazing how all of a sudden you forget eveything with the shock of surgery notice in under two weeks! Good luck!!!

So your surgery date will be April 27th? If so, you must have received a cancellation. That would be less than two weeks of Optifast. Yippee for you!

I had my PATTS on December 1, 2011 and my surgery was December 12, 2012 in Ottawa. They will contact you to schedule the PATTS (usually not the Bariatric Team) and since you will be out of town, you cannot be available until next week. It will be sorted out!

told ya to hang in there. :) Really excited for you. You should call Krista and let her know that you are leaving town for a week. HOPEFULLY they will be able to work around your schedule for PATTS.
