Just finished Optifast #5 - pretty good so far!

Off to Guelph to pick up the youngest from university, then home again for more optifast and try to shake this cold I have.....

I'm looking at retirement homes for someone and I'm getting skinnier by the moment of this opti stuff......and for the first saturday in ages...I'm not hung over :)

Morning both Ann and Scorpioboy....enjoy that optifast....I didn't mind it either...

Ann - it seems everyone preparing for surgery gets a cold....so don't panic if its full blown before surgery

Already have a huge pot of veggie beef soup on the stove....and then to organize my closets for spring/summer....cant wait to get organized

OK - when I have time I will post amounts etc...so here goes

3 + years out...

B - Premier protein shake

l - bowl of the soup I am making before freezing all in small containers for lunches
-cup to cup and a half

s - Greek yogurt- full container of Chobani with black cherries....140 calories of delicious and nutritious

d - roasted chicken - 4 ounces - mashed potatoes....1/2 cup plus 1/2 cup of squash...and a few spoons of gravy on all

s - popsicle

All water....2 - 3 litres - plus regular coffee - decaf coffee and decaf tea tonight...another litre

Barb do you find the Chobani brand similar to Oikos?  I have seen it but never bought it as I had a few bad experiences with other brands of Greek Yogurt not being the greatest.  I never buy anything but the plain but would be nice to have a back up brand if Oikos is sold out.

I SHOULD be buying the plain but instead incorporate the calories of the fruit flavoured into my daily allotment...

YES - I like the chobani - often I cant find the oikos...

 Taking my bicycle in for a tune up today and then cleaning my house.  In terms of food...

B-light ricotta cheese, 1/3 of a banana sliced, dash of vanilla extract and stevia, 1 tbsp ground flax seeds

L-3/4 cup chili

S1- light boccocini cheese, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, chopped garlic (best snack EVER! so good)

D- 1/3 cup taco seasoned ground beef, 1/3 cup chopped lettuce, 3 cherry tomatoes

S2- protein drink (protein powder with a tbsp of cocoa powder in water)

I'm drinking the optifast all day. 
which is good with sf syrup.
Going grocery shopping, which is worst than the optifast.

Surgery date May 7 / 2012
Highest 312 lbs - Pre Op 297lbs - now 199 lbs
I know now that my location was never my destination.
