just a few questions of course
there is no way I can get down three shakes today...just so bloated...passing gas but still feel bloated...normal?
feel pretty crappy in a all around kinda sense...nothing I can pin down....
walked tones...but still feel bloated...also feel cold....no fever or anything and all my signs are normal...just feel freak BLOATED!!!!
did anyone else feel this...how long til I feel "normal"
thanks guys in advance
Welcome home
You will feel bloated because in order to do the surgery they do pump us full of gas.........
Walking will help pass the gas.
Don't worry a lot about getting the protein shakes in right now(just my opinion), make sure you get lots of water in.
Walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip, rest, rest, rest
Everything you are feeling totally normal. You have just had major surgery
Rest up, and you will feel great real soon
Keep us posted

Yes, you had major surgery - so yeah you should feel crappy in an all around kinda sense.
Yes, I felt cold for the first 3 months. This has since abated. After surgery I slept with a sweater and socks in bed. Always wore a sweater around the house.
The bloatedness will go away more as you heal. Lots of good fluids going to help with the healing that is going on internally.
It took me about 2.5 months to feel normal..I had a spectacular recovery - no issues, but felt tired so had a nap every afternoon. Once I got back to work after 8 weeks off it took about 2 weeks to get back into the work routine and ensuring nutrition and fluids during a weekday.
Now I do not stress about what to eat (I generally know the values).
Welcome home.
