having seconds thoughts
I know I had second thoughts too. Was it worth putting myself and my family through it if there were complications... shouldn't I be able to do this on my own... how much is it going to hurt and how much will I miss food... things like that rolled around my head like crazy the last couple of weeks before surgery. Right up to when I was in the operating room. All I can tell you is that it was the best decision I ever made and if I had it to do over again I would... well.. actually if I had it to do over again hopefully I wouldn't get to the point that I needed the surgery.. lol... but you know what I mean!
It's a scary time and a lot of soul searching will be done over the next couple of weeks. I'm sure you'll make the best decision for you.. remember you can come on here and vent whenever you need to!
