Sore throat

so I woke up with a cold that is torturing me with a sore throat........I am 4 weeks post-op......am I able to suck on Vicks Throat drops? Or anything for that matter....Help.

if you had listerine mouth wash (the old fashioned gold stuff) handy, gargling with a little of that four to five times a day helped me.

gargle with warm sal****er several times a day. If you are brave enough add a little apple cider vinegar. Works amazingly well. Tastes terrible but it really works.
