One week to go and trying to hold on
Heeeellloo Everybody!! One week to go and this week has been exhausting already. Had a few blips so far with the Thunder Bay clinic trying to work out all the new kinks with their new surgery program. I've been busy at the sleep clinic, getting a scope done and trying to meet with the anestisiologist (and it's only Tuesday!) Trudging through Opti, reading as much as I can to be fully prepped for next week and ensuring that my husband and 5 yr old Jack are prepped as well. Mentally and physically LOL! I'm so glad to have this forum and all the wonderful people who have been there, done that. I'm holding on and I'll be on that bench soon!!

You're having surgery on my daughter's 5th birthday! Congrats!
Your five-year old will be fine, as will your husband. I had surgery at 8 a.m. and by that evening, my husband brought our daughter to the hospital to see me and snuggle for a bit. It was wonderful to see her, and reassure her that Mommy would be just fine. And she brought me a beautiful get well picture that she'd drawn. I am sure Jack will be happy to see his mommy too!

Keep that spot on the end of the bench warm for me! My surgery isn't long after you (starting Opti on Tuesday for 3 weeks, then surgery on Sept 16)
Orientation at HRH - Jan 13, 2014. 1st Meeting with Surgeon (Dr. Klein) & blood work - Jan 30th. Sleep study - Feb 5th. RN, Dietician & Social Worker exams - Feb 25th, Internist - April 9th. Dr Klein -April 23rd,PATTs Sept 2nd, Surgery, Sept 16, 2014, Opti Starting Weight - 343LB (Aug 26th). Surgery weight 315LB CW 215 17-Aug-2015)
