Day under a blanket sounds awesome, great idea. The salted caramel protein bar where did you get it?  Also,  I noticed you have mackerel on your menu and I have never had it.  How do you prepare it or is it precooked like tuna?

Hey Zizz, hope you had a good day. I get the pure protein bars at Walmart, well i've had this box since last yr and once in a while i'll eat some. I don't know if they have the salted caramel where you live coz it's fairly new here in ON. The mackerel, i buy fresh or frozen then just seaon with salt and pepper/garlic powder a little olive oil then broil for about 6-8 mins. Better be careful as it drys out real quick. Sometimes i just buy the canned ones in water or tomato sauce. I really like them.

Thanks for the info, I will look for mackerel during my next grocery shop. Is it a strong tasting fish or is it mild tasting like cod or tilapia?

It's pretty strong and meaty as well. Don't know how best to describe it, maybe like salmon?
