Finally the last step before my file is sent off and I meet the surgeon. So looking forward to checking this step off my list. Hopefully it won't be long now before I get my surgery date:)

I got my surgical site and surgeons name at my pre-surgical appointment, meet with the surgeon a week later, got my surgery date 3 weeks later.
Referral Date: June 9, 2015. Orientation July 17, 2015. First NP meeting October 2, 2015, Dietitian and Social worker meeting October 23, 2015. Pre-op meeting Nov 11, 2015, Tele - conference with Surgeon Dr. Aart Nov 18, 2015, Start Opti December 1, 2015, Surgery December 15, 2015

I live in Brockville, however Ottawa is overwhelmed with patients. I was referred to the Kingston site, they ship us out to either Ottawa or Toronto, so I am going to Toronto East General.
