I promise to never eat pasta, flour, cereal, bread, grain, rice, sugar and crackers.

 That's a pretty big promise to make. Probably safer to say you won't eat those things for a long time!!!!

Good goals but don't say never. While I am staying away from pasta, white bread and rice, I have had whole grain tortillas and used whole grain flour in cooking.

Food will be there forever. 

Try to get out of the all or nothing mentality.   Better to have an "I will eat healthier" mindset than an all or nothing one

I think I promised that once too.  Didn't stick lol.  Is this a promise or a reminder to yourself?  I tend to forget that I don't eat these things and have on occasion consumed them and paid the price.

At the end of the day we all have to make some pretty major changes but we also still need to live.
