I may have missed it but did you post an update as to what happened at your appointment Monday?

I'm so so sorry... I would be devastated as well.  I remember everything that went into it; all the hard work, hopes, fears, and anxiety and to have that all dashed must be so disheartening.  BUT, he did say there might be alternatives, plus, even if he'd wanted to do a sleeve he couldn't without your permission.  So there's still hope for something.  Hang in there until the meeting (did you mean Dec 17?).
