We are very prolific today here with all of our pumpkin lovers and haters!!!  Big time a lover here!!!    Who would we be without pumpkins, I mean what would the pilgrims have eaten at Thanksgiving dinner, certainly not just Turkey & lowly carb rich corn & potatoes???!?!?!?  And imagine Halloween minus our evilly grinning jack-o-lantern!?!!?

Shaving...I have noticed two things about this in regards to WLS.  One I can reach my legs so it is much easier..lol That's a plus.  But im shaving way more now..negative...last year about all I shaved was my calves as the shortest thing I wore was a capri.  Armpits ah well, I always wore sleeves so who cares... Now well not so much.  Shorts and short sleeves have been my friend this year.  Gotta say this is one chore I will glady keep doing!!!

B- Protein Coffee

L- Smoked salmon

S1 Nut bar

D- Chicken

On the pumpkin topic, I'm only 3 weeks out and I've already started researching pumpkin pie recipes that I can make and EAT at Thanksgiving.  Found a good recipe for almond flour pie crust, and I plan on making myself a pie.  Maybe the family will like it, too.

I have had good luck with Almond flour crusts. Basically the same as a graham cracker  crust just sub almond flour. I have used it for SF cheesecake. Last week for guests I tried a macadamia nut and coconut crust- that was delicious too. I have had good luck as well using SWERVE as a sweetener. It is a combo of Stevia and Erytherol.(sp?) measures like sugar. I find it in the natural food section of my local grocery store or you can buy off Amazon. I also bought a powdered sugar Swerve off Amazon.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. I'm not usually a big sweet eater, but there are times when I will want a small bit for the holidays. I host 30+ prime for both thanksgiving and Christmas and am excited to try some healthier treats.

Late post today, had a dentist consultation today. I'm a baby when it comes to teeth pain, so I thought it would be a good idea to see a sedation dentist to get everything done at once.  HOLY CRAP ITS EXPENSIVE!  The sedation itself is only going to be about $400 but they quoted me $10k for everything I need to have done... and thats just the basics, no teeth whitening or anything.  Ugh.  I'm going to have to bite the bullet (not literally!) and just get 1 thing done at a time with an in-network dentist.  I just wish there was a way for me to overcome the dental anxiety and make the recovery less awful.

Anyway. Here's the menu!

I think you might be a little carb heavy but carbs are my hang up... I try not to go above 50 grams per day. And crackers are my "crack"... I could never just eat 3!  I can barely tolerate having them in my house because they call to me...

I find the best way to track is to use My Fitness Pal. That way I know how many grams of protein, carbs, etc. that I am consuming.
