Im Back after 7 years with a 45 pound weight gain.

well I was orginally on OH in 3/2010 when I surgery for rny. I lost 125 pounds, since then i have gained back 45 pounds mostly due to stress eating and suddenly I stopped one day and looked at myself in the mirror. I put down my fork.  I have not been to a meeting since 2011. Im totally lost. I look up the support group in my area and will be there on Thursday at 6pm sharp. How do start again? Ive made a huge mess and some encouragement is needed.

forgive yourself and move on!  Go back to your original diet when you were 6 months in.

Thank you lol at one point i couldnt even remember what i ate 6 months out so i hunted through old paper wor****pt and found my diet yay!

There is a wealth of "getting back on track" information on this website so start reading, absorbing, and acting upon the best, schenwhit14.  Here's a start-again suggestion if you feel lost:  IMMERSE, IMMERSE, IMMERSE YOURSELF IN YOU to experience results quickly.

You can do it. You know what to do, so just putting back into play and reap the benefits.

I realized that I will always need to daily track and pre-plan my meals and exercise the rest of my life.

Welcome back!  OH is such a wonderful source of support for me, I hope you're able to get back to it and lose that regain.

Good thing is, it's never too late to start again.  Glad you're back here and that you're ready to start over.  I look forward to getting to know you.

You asked "How do I start again?". Honey, you just did. You took the first step by realizing what was done (weight gain) and possible why it happened. You've took the lead, and found a support group, and are going to said meeting. You CAN DO THIS!!!
 It's a great day to be alive.
