I am so nauseated. Like...severely, most of the day every day. And if I'm not nauseated I feel so full that I'm ganna true up. I' onky on an oz of liquid and an oz of food, either way how long does this last!?!?! It's taking a toll on me. I knew before surgery it would be hard and I would be nauseated etc..but this seems obsessive! Anyone with experience please help.. ijm getting weary!

Also, yes I've tried eating different things drinking different things. I' in a vicious cycle of too nauseated to eat or drink etc.

Thanks yall

Have you checked with your Surgeon, being Nauseated only happens to me when I eat too much. I couldn't imagine if I felt like that all the time.

I was told that some people do experience nausea for the first few days and I was prescribed a nausea med that I filled the day before surgery. I did not need to use it, however. I'd definitely bring it up with your surgeon, even if some is normal, it seems too prolonged in your case

Dehydration can make you nauseous. Are you getting in enough fluid? Water is more important than protein in the beginning.

No probably not. But I'm so nauseated I can't drink. So I guess it' a vicious cycle.....

Have you tried different temperatures? Flavorings? Tea?

You have to make yourself get in the fluids. It's your job right now.

Yep, I've tried it all.

It's probably dehydration. Take a small medicine cup and drink some fluid every 15 minutes all day long. Don't try to drink a full glass all at once. Peppermint tea helped me a lot.

Drinking is more important right now than both eating and protein. Dehydration will land you back in the hospital with an IV drip in your arm faster than you can imagine.

Drinking is your full time job right now. No kidding!
