Good morning! I am so excited for the next few days! Most of you probably know "mschwab" from these boards. She and I went to Paris together last year and today she is coming up to Boston for an impromptu visit to have some fun with me before I have to go back to work. "NYMom222" is coming to play with us on Sunday & Monday, too! Yay for visitors!

Accountability: Uh oh, that Cookie Monster looks an awful lot like JB, doesn't he? I stayed at mom's house last night and she always has the best (worst!) treats. I ate 4 of the skinny mint Oreo cookies after dinner. The worst part is that I tried to limit myself to 2 but was back for 2 more before I went to bed. I ended the day at 1000 calories and 38 carbs, which is not a disaster, but I get annoyed when I completely lack self-control.

QOTD: What is your favorite children's picture book? I was looking up some fun literacy themed bulletin boards to put up at school and I was thinking about favorites. I think my #1 is Where the Wild Things Are, but Corduroy is definitely a close second!

Good morning! Last night my cousin and I got matching tattoos! Posting below because I already have too many ideas for photo Friday tomorrow. McWilliams is our family name (though ironically, neither of us has ever legally been a McWilliams. It's both of our maternal side, so we had our dad's names) and the firecracker is because our family loves 4th of July and fireworks. We all turn into a bunch of maniacs.

Qotd: I loved Corduroy too, but now as an adult my favorite children's picture book is The Giving Tree.

breakfast: coffee with Premier

morning snack: HB egg with spicy mustard

lunch: salad with 3 oz chicken (my salads are really just a bowl of chicken with a hint of spinach and dressing lol)

dinner: out to Panera with my writing group after work, I'll have to check the soups for today. Ill have turkey chili if it's on the menu, otherwise might just have tea and wait to eat some leftover spaghetti meat sauce with cheese when I get home.

So random but I just met someone a few weeks ago who also has a firecracker tattoo! What are the odds?

its funny but not what our triggers are. I decided to add 2 servings of trunut to my bedtime time. it was very yummy and not 'off plan'. it was chocolate flavor.

scale not budging at all but it is also not moving up which is awesome. im starting to see body changes and im happy about that. going to focus on keeping my protein numbers as high as possible for the rest of the month and see where that takes me. the main thing is the cravings have not been near as bad by upping fat and the 'binge'/eating off plan/ episodes are down to maybe 1-2 a month instead of 1-2 a week. this is huge.

QOTD: charlottes web, my first potty, dr seuss, the disney books with the attached records for playing

Food for today:

last of the pork

coffee with mct and almond milk

water

protein pancakes

maybe dr praegers burger patty

going to try boot camp at the gym today- hopefully it doesn't kill me too bad but feel I need the cardio bump

Sorry that the scale isn't going down but it sounds like you are doing well. Congrats on all your hard work!

I think that it's awesome that you have found success reducing the number of the 'binge' eating episodes. Keep up the good work.
